In Villa de Leyva, where colonial architecture defines both the tourist postcard and the local way of life, Casa del Pueblo was born—a housing project that asks how to inhabit the historic center through a contemporary lens. Far from being a conventional commission, the initiative emerged as a self-managed exploration, with no defined client or program, driven by a reflection on the real estate dynamics of the urban core.
